Rapid Resource for Families strives to improve the preplacement matching and successful transition to lower levels of care for our most vulnerable youth transitioning from PRTF placement to IAFT® services. We are committed to reducing disruptions with a preplacement continuum of care planning and relationship building. RRFF is dedicated to improving outcomes and quality-driven services by developing this Duke Endowment grant-funded program to provide psychologically safe therapeutic foster care environments through rapport building, advance coaching of treatment parent, and psychoeducation. This effort is collaborative with the provider agency, identified treatment parent, RRFF, and PRTF to support relationship development and address identified barriers before placement discharge. Treatment parents will be better equipped to meet the behavioral and physical health needs to support whole child wellness. This program is designed to support placement retention in a community setting while focusing on the youths permanency plan.
